أُخذ الصقر من شعار قوة دفاع أبوظبي التي عملت في قلعة الجاهلي و يُجسّد الصقر أحد الرموز الوطنية التي تدل على القوة والشجاعة والمرتبطة بإمارة أبوظبي

The falcon was adopted from the emblem of the Abu Dhabi Defence Force, which operated out of Al Jahili Fort. It is a national symbol representing strength and courage and is closely associated with the Emirate of Abu Dhabi
